Vicki Sue Robinson, born Vicki Robinson on May 31, 1954, in Harlem, New York,
was an American singer. She began her career at the age of six, performing with
her mother at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. At sixteen, Robinson made her
professional debut in the Broadway musical Hair, followed by roles in Soon and
Jesus Christ Superstar. Her recording debut came as a background vocalist on
