Vicki Yohe is a gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader, born in Normal,
Illinois and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. She sang her first solo at age
five, and her family moved to Hammond, Louisiana when she was fourteen. At
nineteen, she became music director at a church near Baton Rouge. In 1992, she
recorded her self-titled independent debut album, which led to a recording
contract with Giant Records in 1994 after gaining wider attention. She is best
