Vidhu Prathap

Vidhu Prathap, born on 1 September 1980 in Kaithamukku, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is a playback singer. He trained in classical music under G. Devarajan and Perumbavoor G. Raveendranath. He first gained recognition with the Voice of the Year award in 1997 and entered playback singing with Paadamudra in grade IV, before his breakthrough in the 1999 film Devadasi and the award‑winning song "Kaalame Kaikolluka Nee" from Sayahnam (2000). Over the following decades Vidhu recorded more than 600 songs, notably "Sukhamani Nilaavu" from Nammal (2002). His work earned a Kerala State Film...
