Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks
Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks, an American musical group based in New York,
was led by music historian Vince Giordano. The band specialized in recreating
hot jazz and dance music styles from 1919 to the mid-1930s. Their recordings
have been featured in various television shows, radio broadcasts, and movies,
including The Aviator (2004) and several films directed by Woody Allen. The
group released albums such as Digital Big Band Hits (1984), Quality Shout!
(1993), Cotton Club Revisited (2001), and Moonlight Serenade (2006).
