Viola Valentino
Virginia Minnetti, born on July 1, 1949, in Canzo, Italy, began singing as
Virginia Minnetti in 1968 and later performed with her husband in the duo
Renzo & Virginia Minnetti. In 1979 she adopted the stage name Viola Valentino.
The single "Comprami" sparked controversy and achieved commercial success in
Italy and Spain. She released the album Cinema in 1980, followed by
In Primo Piano in 1982, and participated in the Festival di Sanremo with
