Vismets
Whether it's a brilliant bluff or a sub-Ghinzu, opinion is divided on the
Belgian band Vismets. The band formed in Brussels by Dany Klein, aka Dany
Vismets, uses the good old recipe of provocation and outrageousness to great
effect, delighting in poses worthy of Oasis. Claiming to be "forbidden in
Belgium" to launch their debut album, Vismets hope to create the same sensation
in France as they did in Belgium. With the release of Gürü Voodoo in April 2011,
and a tour ending at the Francofolies de La Rochelle, Vismets' true potential
can't be hidden for long.
