Vizinhos
Vizinhos, also known as Os Vizinhos, is a Portuguese band formed in 2025 by
David Mendonça, Miguel Brites, Francisco and Tomás Cartaxo. Originally from the
town of Évora, the four members of Grupo Academico Seistetos decided to form
their own group, whose music is inspired by the traditional folklore of the
Alentejo region. Based on a song composed by João Direitinho and João Barbosa,
"Pôr do Sol" proved a success on digital platforms, reaching number 19 in the
Portuguese singles chart.
