R&B, pop crooning, and hip-hop beats in an attempt to capture the same urban
audience. The group featured Mike G, Mech220, The H.R., David Cordova, James
Cartagena, and Eric Serrano. Their first big break came when they opened for
Mariah Carey on 12 dates of her 1993 tour. Their first recorded output was a
cover of “Why Do Fools Fall In Love”, which was featured on the soundtrack to
the movie Calendar Girl. When their manager was murdered, the band lost their
sense of direction. By 1997, they were back on track, signing with H.O.L.A.
