VOTA
VOTA, formerly Casting Pearls, is an American Christian rock band from Lincoln,
Nebraska. Formed in 1997 by Bryan Olesen and Case Maranville, the group
independently released their debut album Really Great Sinners in 2000, followed
by Rock (2002) and Casting Pearls (2004). In 2008, they changed their name to
VOTA due to confusion with Casting Crowns. Their song "Hard to Believe" reached
number 17 on R&R magazine's weekly chart in May 2009 and number 27 on
