Wa Wa Nee
Wa Wa Nee is a funk band from Australia, formed in 1982 by singer/songwriter
Paul Gray and guitarist Steve Williams. The group initially included Geoff
Lundren on bass, Elizabeth Lord on keyboards and backing vocals, and Chris
Sweeney on drums. After signing with CBS Records in 1985, Wa Wa Nee released
their debut single "Stimulation", which peaked at number 2 in Australia in April
1986. Later that year, the band's second single "I Could Make You Love Me"
reached number 5, and their self-titled debut album Wa Wa Nee peaked at number
