Warzone
Warzone was an American hardcore punk band from New York City formed in 1982 by
Ray "Raybeez" Barbieri. The group released its debut EP, Lower East Side Crew
(1987), via Revelation Records, and its first full-length album, Don't Forget
the Struggle, Don't Forget the Streets (1987), on Fist Records. Subsequent
albums include Open Your Eyes (1989), Warzone (1990), Old School to New School
(1994), and The Sound of Revolution (1996). The band disbanded following
Barbieri's death on September 11, 1997. Posthumously, the group's final album,
Fight for Justice (1997), was released.
