Waye
Wayé, whose real name is Rolf Derly Nganga, hails from Brazzaville, Congo. His
career began in Burkina Faso and Congo, before he turned fully to music in 2015,
abandoning a career in aviation. With the group Bones Clique, he made a name for
himself with the mixtape The Bone Theory (2014). Solo, he released his debut EP
Dear Uncle Sam the same year. His project Ombres & Lumières : Le Prélude (2016)
marked a turning point, earning him Male Revelation of the Year at the Beat
