Wendy & Lisa
Wendy and Lisa, an American pop-rock music duo consisting of Wendy Melvoin and
Lisa Coleman, originated in Los Angeles, California. The pair began their
musical journey in the early 1980s when Lisa Coleman joined Prince's touring
band on keyboards and piano. In 1983, Wendy Melvoin was invited to join as
guitarist for the recording of Purple Rain (1984). After contributing to several
albums with Prince and the Revolution, including Around the World in a Day
