White Trash
White Trash was an American funk, hard rock, and soul band from Queens, New
York, formed in 1985 by vocalist Dave Alvin and brothers Ethan Collins on guitar
and Aaron Collins on bass. Billed as four college dropouts with an attitude and
a horn section, they featured their horn section, called the Badass Brass. In
1990, the group was signed to EMI Music Publishing, followed by a signing with
Elektra Records in 1991. Their self-titled debut studio album, White Trash, was
released that same year and featured the single “Apple Pie”, which reached
number 39 on the Billboard Hot Mainst...
