Widowmaker
Widowmaker was a British hard rock band active from 1975 to 1977. Formed by
guitarist Luther Grosvenor, also known as Ariel Bender, the group's initial
lineup included vocalist Steve Ellis, guitarist Huw Lloyd-Langton, Australian
bassist Bob Daisley, and drummer Paul Nicholls. After signing with Jet Records,
the group released the debut single “On the Road” in February 1976, followed by
the debut studio album Widowmaker (1976), which reached number 196 on the United
