Willem
Wilken Fritz Dincklage, known professionally as Willem, was born on August 21,
1942, in Hamburg, Germany. He began his career as a singer and musician,
initially gaining experience by playing banjo and guitar in various jazz clubs
in Hamburg during the early 1960s. In 1973, he released his first single "Grüß
Mir Den Herbert, Hein Und Jan Und Mach Kein' Scheiß Mit Fred (... Ach Erika)",
marking his debut as Willem. He co-founded Aamok Musikproduktion- und Public
