William Joseph
William Joseph Schwartz III, born in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona, is an American
pianist and recording artist also known as William Joseph. At age 8, he won a
full music scholarship from the Boys Clubs of America, enabling him to study
piano with Russian pianist Stella Saperstein. In 2003, he met David Foster at a
charity event, leading to a collaboration that resulted in his major-label debut
album Within, released in 2004. He opened for Josh Groban's Closer Tour later
that year and Clay Aiken's Joyful Noise Tour in 2005. He released his second
album Beyond in 2008.
