William Prince
William Prince, born in 1986 in Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada, is a Canadian folk
and country singer-songwriter. A direct descendant of Chief Peguis, Prince moved
with his family to Peguis First Nation as a boy. His father Edward was also a
musician and preacher, and Prince traveled with him playing gigs in northern
Manitoba. In 2015, he released his solo debut album Earthly Days, which won the
Juno Award for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year in 2017. The song
