Włodzimierz Korcz is a Polish composer, pianist, and producer who was born in
Łódź, Poland, in 1943. He achieved early professional recognition in 1965 after
making a debut and is famous for co-authoring the song “Żeby Polska była Polską”
(1976), which served as an informal anthem for the Solidarity movement. Korcz
graduated from the Academy of Music in Łódź and worked as a music editor for
Polskie Radio between 1968 and 1970. He has composed extensively for film and
theatre, including the musical Dyzma (2002) and the soundtrack for Lata
dwudzieste... lata trzydzieste... (1983). ...
