Woo Jin-young is a South Korean singer and rapper known for his work in K-pop and hip-hop. He was born on May 31, 1997, in Seoul. Initially trained under JYP Entertainment, Woo Jin-young moved to Happy Face Entertainment, where he participated in Mnet's Produce 101 in 2017. Though he was eliminated in the second round, his performances helped him gain recognition. Later that year, he joined JTBC's Mix Nine, a reality competition aiming to debut a nine-member boy group.
