Wormburner
Wormburner is an indie rock band based in Brooklyn, New York. The group was
formed in 2003 and consists of six members led by Steve "Hank" Henry, who serves
as the singer, guitarist, and principal songwriter. Wormburner's debut album, A
Hero's Welcome, was released in 2006 and produced by David Lowery of Cracker.
The band gained traction through live performances and their power-pop sound.
Their second album, Placed By The Gideons, was released in 2010 on the label Wax
Off. In November 2013, Wormburner opened for Violent Femmes at Roseland Ballroom
