X!NK is a Belgian pop-punk band, formed by brothers Jonas and Niels Meukens and
Thomas and Philip Valkiers, who handled vocals, drums, guitar, and bass,
respectively. The quartet first attracted attention as Belgium’s entry in the
2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with "De Vriendschapsband", finishing sixth
in Copenhagen with 83 points. They released their self‑titled debut album X!nk
in 2004, which went gold in Flanders, and followed with the single "Oh‑Ho" and
the track "Laat Me Vrij" used as the theme for the Flemish version of Garfield.
