Y&T, originally known as Yesterday and Today, is an American heavy metal band
formed in Oakland, California in 1972. The group initially consisted of Leonard
Haze on drums, Wayne Stitzer on piano, Bob Gardner on bass, and Dave Meniketti
on guitar and vocals. After several lineup changes, including the addition of
Joey Alves on rhythm guitar and Phil Kennemore on bass, the band began to
compose original material. Y&T released their first two studio albums, Yesterday
