Y'akoto
Y'akoto (born March 19, 1988 in Hamburg) is a soul singer and songwriter from
Germany with Ghanaian roots. Born Jennifer Yaa Akoto Kieck, she has been
interested in music since childhood. In the early 2010s, she was discovered
during a radio contest. The EP Tamba in 2011 was followed a year later by her
debut album Babyblues. Y'akoto succeeded in reaching number 20 in the German
charts. Well-known artists such as Max Herre, Samon Kawamura and Roberto di
