Yasmine Hamdan is a Lebanese singer and actress born in Beirut in 1976. In 1998,
she founded the duo Soap Kills with Zed Hamdan, one of the first electro-pop
formations in the Middle East, before moving to Paris where she collaborated
with producer Mirwais (ex-Taxi Girl), forming the entity Y.A.S. which produced
the albumAräbology (2009), offering a new synthesis between oriental music and
electro. In 2012, she teamed up with Marc Collin, known for his work with Ollano
and Nouvelle Vague, to produce her eponymous debut solo album. The following
