Hwang Ye-ji, born on May 26, 2000, in Seoul, South Korea, is widely recognized
as Yeji, the leader of the South Korean girl group Itzy, which was formed by JYP
Entertainment in 2019. From a young age in Jeonju, Yeji aspired to be a singer,
