Mandopop singer, songwriter, and musician Yida Huang was born in Singapore on
August 11, 1979. At the age of 16, he attended the Lee Wei Song School of Music.
After he graduated, he began pursuing music as a career and recorded several
theme songs for films (2002’s Treasure Planet and 2003’s Sound of Colors) and TV
