Grace Hughes, known professionally by the stage name Yorke, is an Australian
indie pop musician from Byron Bay born in 1998. She reached professional
recognition in 2019 while performing as a support act for the musician Ruel
during the Painkiller tour. Hughes reached wider visibility after the song “Wake
the City” was featured on the television series 9-1-1. Her recording career
