over 10 million solos albums and writing multiple Number 1 hits over a 55-year
career. He was born on August 30, 1948, in Tagawa, Fukuoka. Originally operating
under the stage name of "Andre Candre," he debuted in 1969 with the single
"Candre Mandre," then released his debut album as "Yōsui Inoue" in 1971. That
