Trevor Powers (born March 18, 1989, in Boise, Idaho) is an American musician
known for his work as Youth Lagoon. He launched the project in 2010, releasing
The Year of Hibernation (2011), a minimalist, atmospheric debut exploring
psychological themes. His follow-up, Wondrous Bughouse (2013), was influenced by
metaphysics and blended experimental pop with psychedelic sounds. In 2015,
Savage Hills Ballroom marked a shift to a more refined production style, but in
2016, Powers announced the end of Youth Lagoon.
