(Yu Mei)
Yu Mei is a Guadeloupean artist working in the bouyon genre. Passionate about
music since childhood, she began playing the piano at the age of 7. It was
during her confinement that she experimented with compositions and made a name
for herself with her track"Eat Up", which popularized her on the Caribbean
scene. The same year, she followed this up with"Dife Kako", which became her
biggest hit, racking up over 2 million streams. She decided to go professional
in music, and in 2021 released the track"Pine Up", followed by"Leakey" in 2022.
