Asha Catherine Nandy, known by the stage name Yunè Pinku, was born in December
2002 in London and is an Irish musician whose work blends garage with other
forms of electronic music. She grew up with a family that exposed her to Irish
traditional instruments and electronic styles. Her first releases appeared on
SoundCloud in early 2022, including the single "Affection" and the EP Bluff,
which was issued by Platoon in 2022. In 2023, she released the album Babylon IX
