Yung Mal
Hailing from Zone 6 on Atlanta’s East Side, Yung Mal (born on August 6, 1999) is
an American rapper that first rose to prominence in the trap scene through a
series of mixtapes with fellow MC Lil Quill in the late 2010s. Known for his
high-speed delivery and evocative street-smart chronicles of life in urban
Atlanta, Yung Mal started recording his own material at the age of 13 and
released his viral debut single “Str8 Out Da Pot” in 2016. Deeply rooted in the
city’s thriving trap scene, the rapper then teamed up with longtime friend Lil
