Yuya Tegoshi (November 11, 1987) is a Japanese singer who first jumped to fame
as a member of the boy band NEWS. He has also enjoyed great popularity as an
actor, starring in the dramas My Boss My Hero (2006), Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi
Henge (2010), and Deka Wanko (2011). Hailing from the city of Yokohama, Yuya
Tegoshi joined the entertainment company Johnny & Associates as a trainee in
2002 and made his debut with NEWS in 2003 with the chart-topping single “News
