Zehava Ben is an Israeli singer born as Zehava Benisti on 8 November 1968 in
Beersheba. Born into a Moroccan Jewish family, she began her musical career in
1988 and achieved a professional breakthrough with her debut album and title
track “Tipat Mazal” (1989), which became a major hit in Israel. Ben is a
prominent vocalist in the Mizrahi genre and performs in both Hebrew and Moroccan
Arabic. Her early discography includes the studio albums Eize Min Olam (1990),
