Folk singer, songwriter, and musician Zhao Lei was born in Beijing, China on
July 20, 1986. Learning to play guitar while in high school, he began his
journey as a singer-songwriter in 2003 when he began performing acoustic shows
in local clubs. Writing from a personal perspective, his songs began to attract
fans and earned the respect of many local musicians. In 2009, he toured China
