Thomas Fenske, known professionally as Ziggy X, was born in Lüneburg, Germany,
and began his career as a disc jockey and producer. His interest in DJing was
sparked in late 1998 by DJ Mind X’s track "Nightingale", and he started
performing in clubs from January 2000, securing a residency at the Kitchen Base
Club in May 2000 and later at Hamburg’s Paranoya and Wittenburg’s Empire. In
2002 he founded the label vinyl-impact presents and released his debut single
"Bassdusche" in 2003, which entered the German dance charts and was named
