Zucchero (born September 25, 1955 in Roncocesi) is a singer, musician and songwriter from Italy. Born Adelmo Fornaciari, he is considered the father of Italian blues. He has been playing in various bands since the 1970s. At the beginning of the 1980s, he took part in the famous Sanremo Music Festival, the Italian preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest. in 1983, Zucchero released his debut album Un po' di Zucchero. in 1985, Zucchero once again took part in the Sanremo Festival together with The Randy Jackson Band with the song "Donne" and landed his first minor hit.
