Natalia Andreyevna O'Shea is a Russian singer-songwriter and musician born on
September 3, 1976, in Moscow, Soviet Union. Known professionally as Hellawes,
she is a classically trained pianist and linguist specializing in Celtic and
Germanic languages. She began her recording career in 1996 with the releases
Running to Paradise, The Road of Dream, and The Lunar Day. Hellawes reached
wider visibility in 1998 as a vocalist for the ensemble Till Eulenspiegel. In
1999, she established the folk-rock ensemble Melnitsa. Their recording career
