Юрий Каспарян (Yuri Kasparyan), born on June 24, 1963, in Simferopol, is a
Russian musician, guitarist, and composer. He started playing guitar after
studying cello at a children's music school. In early 1983, Kasparyan met Viktor
Tsoi and became the lead guitarist of Kino until 1990. With Kino, he toured
extensively within the USSR and internationally. Following Tsoi's death in 1990,
Kino disbanded, and Kasparyan took a hiatus to study esotericism and philosophy.
