רוני סומק
Ronny Someck was born in 1951 in Baghdad and is an Iraqi-Israeli poet and
singer. His family immigrated to Israel when he was young. Later, studied Hebrew
literature and philosophy at Tel Aviv University, along with drawing at the Avni
Academy of Art. His music career began with collaborations with musician Elliott
Sharp, resulting in albums such as Revenge of the Stuttering Child (1997) and A
Short History of Vodka (2001). Someck's poetic works have been translated into
45 languages, reflecting his significant contributions to literature. He has
