Hongsam Trio is a South Korean three-member music group, consisting of Hong
Seung-hyun (leader), Hong Jung-oh, and Hong Woo-seop. They debuted in 1979 with
the song "Prayer" and are known for their blend of trot, folk/blues, and ballad
genres. That same year, they won the Gold Prize at the MBC Riverside Song
