Kanako Watanabe, known professionally as Kanako Hoshino, was born on December 3,
1979, in Tokyo, Japan, and is a Japanese singer. She began her career as a
vocalist for Bemani after joining Konami through an audition in 2004. Her debut
mini-album, EIGHT ELEMENTS OF THE STAR, was released on July 28, 2006. Hoshino's
early work included collaborations with DJ Yoshitaka and Keiichi Ueno,
contributing to several songs for Bemani. In 2009, she released the album Prism
