Harjeet Singh Sehgal, known professionally as Baba Sehgal, was born on November
23, 1965, in Lucknow, India. He is a rapper and singer widely recognized as one
of the pioneers of Indian hip-hop. Sehgal graduated with a B.Tech from G.B. Pant
University of Agriculture and Technology before embarking on his entertainment
career in the 1990s. His breakthrough came with the release of "Thanda Thanda
