Bikram Singh

Bikram Singh is an American bhangra musician born in 1980 in Punjab. He emigrated to Queens, New York, at the age of 12 and entered the local music scene by performing at an open mic night in Greenwich Village. Singh began his recording career by collaborating with DJ Navdeep on the underground track “Aa Gayee”. In 2003, he performed alongside Panjabi MC at the Summerjam festival. He released the mixtape Exclusives (2003) and achieved professional recognition with his debut studio album, American Jugni (2005).
