Torgeir Byrknes, known professionally as Teebee, is a Norwegian drum and bass
disc jockey and producer. Born on May 19, 1976, in Bergen, Norway, Byrknes was
one of the first foreign producers to establish a reputation in the British
jungle and drum and bass scene. In 1996, Byrknes began releasing music on the
United Kingdom record labels A-Level and Rugged Vinyl. In 1999, Byrknes released
the collaborative studio album Black Science with Polar on the Beatservice
label, followed by the solo debut studio album Black Science Labs (2000) on
